CARNELIAN STONE DEFINITION: (CORNELIAN / CARNEOLE): A member of the chalcedony (quartz) family and ranges in color from light brownish red to deep transparent red. The color is due to iron. This translucent stone has a waxy luster. Carnelian is usually heat treated to produce color, and occasionally dyed to produce color.

Since Pi Gamma Phi (DOSKELION) International Incorporated, Fraternity and Sorority, Surigao del Sur, chapter founded last December 06, 2003, organized by brother Joey B. Areglado, with him 21st pioneered member's namely: Kelly M. Cañete, Annabele P. Condez, Felix Dumalagan, Dave Plaza, Ronna B. Borlat, Dumilo, Namalata, Ronly Pascual, Julie Yurtaz, Benje Tubay, JP Bandoy, Febelix Dagondong, Lilian Dagondong, Hazel Plana, Dunstan Aparicio, Cherry Mae Plaza, Keaven Campos, Renny Atabelo, Garry Palma, Jay Nelson Bacalia, Jannel Jad Lamigo and Glen Clar their Vision and Mission is to Promote the Sorority/Brotherhood and to commit service to public particular in Surigao del Sur.
